STUDY SPANISH AND DISCOVER THE CULTURal heritage OF jerez

Practice and improve your speaking skills by attending Spanish lessons during the morning and then spend the afternoon using the vocabulary and expressions learnt in the classroom to help discover the cultural heritage of Andalusia and Jerez.

These courses consists of 15 hours general Spanish + 3 hours of activities and excursions.

Options include the three basic pillars of Jerez culture: flamenco, horses and sherry.

FLAMENCO

Improve and practice your Spanish whilst attending flamenco dance classes in the birthplace of flamenco, under the watchful eye of professional instructors.

Flamenco dance classes take place at local dance studios together with dance students from both Spain and abroad. If you need further details, don’t hesitate to contact us.

HORSES

Jerez is well-known throughout the equestrian world for its Carthusian purebred Arabian horses.

Tenidiomas offers the chance to learn Spanish whilst discovering the marvellous culture relating to the horse. During your stay you will have the opportunity to go on horse trails through vineyards or take dressage classes at a local equestrian centre and visit the Royal Andalusian School of the Equestrian Art to attend the show “How the Andalusian Horses Dance”.

SHERRY

Learn the Language of Sherry in the home of the Denomination of Origin Jerez-Xérès-Sherry. The only region in the world where Sherry, Manzanilla and Brandy de Jerez can be produced.

These courses, forming part of the Wine Routes of Spain, combine language classes with a series of activities that include sherry tasting and visits to vineyards and local wineries, thus allowing participants to discover and understand the vocabulary and different stages of the unique Criaderas y Solera ageing process of sherry in its mother tongue: Spanish.

Enjoy the opportunity to learn about the different types of wine produced in the Jerez Region, their food pairings, specific vocabulary, expressions and the history of sherry. Later, in the afternoon, put everything you have learnt into practice during a practical visit.
